On 12th November 2008. teams from the MHRA(Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) raided 12 premises related to seven Internet sites believed to be operating illegally in the prescription medicines business. They are all suspected of either supplying prescription medicines without prescription or supplying unlicensed drugs such as Kamagra (the male impotence drug based on Viagra).
This action was part of a co-ordinated world-wide operation involving INTERPOL and eight other agencies world wide. Thousands of packs of illegal medicines and computer equipment were seized. Internet Service Providers have been contacted and asked to close the offending websites.
If the website you have been buying from has vanished recently then you may have been risking your life taking fake Viagra, Cialis or Levitra for impotence and Reductil or Xenical for weight loss or with other prescription fakes. The countries participating in this action included Canada, Germany, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.
We are delighted to report this action against our illegal competition. It will save lives.
