We ran a story some time ago about the manufacturer of Cialis skirting round the UK advertising laws with their 40over40.com TV advertising designed to send men suffering with impotence to their doctors to request help.  At the time we speculated how long it would be before Pfizer, the Viagra manufacturer, ventured in the same direction in the UK.  They have, but not for impotence product Viagra.  Their TV advert pointing viewers at the website -  www.quitwithhelp.co.uk - is designed to get smokers who have found it hard to give up to approach their doctor for treatment, which we are sure Pfizer will hope to be Champix, the stop smoking product they market in the UK which is only available on prescription.  The success rate for smokers giving up with this product is very good and getting them to the doctor is the first step in helping them kick this dangerous habit.  This is one "close to the wind" campaign we support for the benefits that may come from it.
