An FDA Advisory Panel (USA) has voted unanimously against approving Flibanserin, the drug we previously told you about that had been discovered in a similar way to Viagra itself, through reports of other effects than the intentional one being tested for.  The committee said that the evidence presented did not demonstrate the safety or effectiveness of the product.  It is probable that the FDA will follow the committee's advice so it seems likely that it will be some time before a female Viagra, Cialis or Levitra will appear on any market, other than the usual illegal ones.  If there is any further news we will update this story.
