The MHRA has received warnings from overseas agencies about seven so-called herbal drugs (Power 1 Walnut, China Vigour, Herb Vigour, Natural Vigour, VPXL No. 1 Dietary Supplement for Men, Blue Steel and Hero).  All these products contain prescription only drugs, without declaring the fact.  These drugs, sildenafil, tadalafil and glibenclamide, should only be supplied by prescription.   One of these products was responsible for a death in Singapore and 23 confirmed cases of adverse effects, including being found unconscious at home.  Luxemburg, Netherlands and the United States have also issued warnings having found instances of these products being supplied without any medical supervision over the Internet.  Our advice is not to take risks with off-shore suppliers who are not regulated.
