Prescription medicines such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra do not attract VAT in the UK. They are zero rated. This means that while there are some minor increases in our costs we will not be increasing the prices of our medicines at the moment. Clinic Europe have not had any increase for over two years, even though some costs have risen, and we intend to hold our prices at the competitive levels they currently are for as long as possible. One manufacturer, Bayer, has recently reduced the prices of two strengths of Levitra, and Clinic Europe has passed on these savings to our patients. Provided the government strategy works, we do not see them adding VAT to prescription medicines in the near future.
