Finnish customs authorities are sending in sniffer dogs to identify imports of fake Viagra - the impotence medication of choice for many people.

The two dogs, reported to have been trained in Holland, can tell the difference between counterfeit Viagra and the real thing but do not react to either Cialis or Levitra. That has the potential for mistaken identifcation in cases in which the package is declared as containing Viagra but the dogs do not react to it. Will it then automatically be deemed to be counterfeit and seized and destroyed?

The official explanation is that the intention is to remove counterfeits, which, as we have previously reported, can contain harmful ingredients and harm the health of the end user.
